Fit in low carparks is the only thing I can think of.
Anyway, to help out one of our friends, the Tall Black Van was cleaned up a little, had some ribbon tied on it and had all the seats put back in so they could have a 7 seater wedding car driven by myself. Car did excellent, as expected, plenty of room for everyone in the wedding party on the way back to the reception.
This was the first time I’d had the camper setup out of the van since first building it. It was a fairly smooth process to get everything out, but it’s not something I would like to do very often. Mostly with how heavy the main unit is – definitely a 2 man job to move. I’ve thought about some holes to lighten it, but I’m not sure how effective losing a few kilos like this will be when the entire unit weighs probably over 80kg.
